Kollin and I found our way to one another in a way only natural to us: through storytelling. We met in an Irish literature class, studying James Joyce and W.B. Yeats. Little did we know that these two English majors would soon write a story of their own. 

After having our own wedding in May of 2024, my view of marriage was profoundly altered. I couldn't even fathom why our culture had always put down to marriage because to me, it became the ultimate joy, partnership, and deep covenant—not because it was easy but because it was worth it. 

In 2025, God placed the calling on my heart to start Lacelight Studios. I had already been doing photography and videography for a few years in my marketing roles, and now I was ready to use those skills to capture one of the most important things in the world: marriages. 

Kollin joined the team in 2026 as we expanded to offer photo and video bundles, and his impressive creativity has elevated the brand immensely. 

Together, we create the perfect team: I lead with energy and direction, and Kollin brings quiet depth and intention to everything behind the lens.
